I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jeanette Turk for a couple of years now, beginning with some small projects for my home and office.
In 2019, I decided to update my vacation home in Miramar Beach, Florida. The project included updating the third, fourth, and fifth floors. Jeanette provided digital floor plans, a detailed scope of work, budget, and several designs for each room. Using fabric swatches, wood samples, paint decks, catalogs, and PowerPoint presentations, she guided me through the selection process.
The scope of work included: custom window treatments, upholstery and case goods furniture, lighting, floor, and wall coverings, and accessories. Also, Jeanette assisted with coordinating subcontracted services that included plumbing, painting, and cleanup. She hired and managed the electrical subcontractor for the installation of overhead lighting.
I was delighted with the result, so, in 2020, I hired her to update the first and second floors. Using a similar process and a scope of work that mirrored the previous, we began the project in earnest in late March as the COVID-19 pandemic began. The completion date for this project is now late May of this year.
