Quality, craftsmanship, and comfort framed our furniture choices.
MCM leaning selections with clean lines and organic shapes, which are characteristic of the style, include the living room chairs and end tables, the dining room table, and kitchen stools. The chair, ottoman, side table, and desk strongly reflect the mid-century modern design aesthetic in the office. The shape of candle bases on the coffee table lean to MCM.
In the main bedroom, the Asian fretwork on dark walnut featured on the headboard and the emphasis on horizontal and vertical lines, combined with the use of ornate hardware, evokes Asian design style. The vintage-inspired, solid teak console table in the foyer compliments the Chinese cabinet.
We avoided the excessive ornamentation and low seating typical of Asian design in our furniture selection for the main living areas, balancing the two styles with the color and texture of the more decorative elements in the space.
