Cohesive Design

Because the Kitchen, Dining, and Living Room were open to each other, a cohesive design was important. The soft gray color found in the floor, backsplash, and paint provides cohesion as a neutral background color, featured in the finish on the dining room chairs. The gray tied into the upholstery fabrics on the living room furniture, rug, and artwork in the living room. The client wanted seating for six (shown in the last photo) and seating for three at the kitchen island. Custom lighting was selected to tie in with the polished nickel finish found in the kitchen.
